Colin Kim, a second year Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Scholar, received an award in the Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics division for his poster on "Directed Evolution of an O-methyltransferase for Benzylisoquinoline Alkaloid Biosynthesis in Yeast" at the 2017 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) national meeting last week in Phoenix, AZ. Colin (center) joins fellow UCSB students, Rachel Liu and David Lowe, in celebrating their poster awards.
